Please get in touch for an emergency dentist appointment if you are suffering from toothache. We will advise the appropriate treatment plan. If you need to control the pain until your appointment, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen can often work well to relieve toothache. Please only take if you have no medical contraindication and ensure you read the label, not exceeding the maximum amount.

What to do if You Have Toothache?

If there is any sign of facial swelling, please contact us immediately to arrange an assessment and diagnosis. A swelling may indicate an abscess or infection. Depending on the cause of the swelling, we can carry out a suitable plan to prevent the further spread of infection.

What if There is a Facial Swelling?

If a crown has fallen out, please keep it clean, safe and secure and arrange an appointment to see us for an emergency dental assessment.

Where appropriate, we can clean the crown and re-cement it. If this is not possible, we will provide alternative advice on how to replace the tooth.

What if a Crown Has Come Off?

If your denture has broken, please keep it clean and secure and bring it to an emergency dentist appointment at our clinic. Please do not try and repair the denture yourself, as this can prevent future repairs with the dental laboratory. Usually, dentures can be fixed by the following day, though this will be assessed by one of our Dentists.
